陈森林

陈森林博士系美国路易斯安娜州立大学（Louisiana State University）人体运动学系副教授终身教授；主要研究方向包括体育课程设计与干预、青少年身体活动与体能促进、成就动机与学习等。自2012年以来，陈博士发表核心英文期刊论文40余篇、英译教材（编）1本，在国际国内大型科报会做报告70余次；主持（或协同主持）多项由校内外资助的科研课题项目，总计经费逾300万美元，其中包括美国农业部（USDA）和国家卫生所（NIH）资助的课题项目。陈博士于2014年被评为美国体育健康协会（SHAPE America）研究院资深会员（Fellow），2016年获国际华人体育与健康协会（ICSPAH）杰出青年科研奖、美西人体运动学与康健协会（WSKW）青年学者奖。陈博士现任美国教育研究协会（AERA）体育研究分会（SIG）当选主席（Chair-Elect；2018-2019年）。陈博士目前担任核心期刊《体育教学期刊》和《体育教育与锻炼科学测量》副主编（2018-2021年）。陈博士于2005年和2007年先后在北京师范大学体育与运动学院获得学士和硕士学位，2011年在美国北卡罗来纳大学格林斯伯勒校区（University of North Carolina at Greensboro）获得哲学博士学位，博士毕业后于2011-2017年在美国艾奥瓦州立大学担任助理教授。


Biography

Senlin Chen, Ph.D. is a Helen "Bessie"
Silverberg Pliner Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology at Louisiana
State University (LSU). Dr. Chen’s research areas include physical education curriculum intervention, youth physical activity and fitness promotion, motivation and learning in physical activity. Since 2012, Dr. Chen
has published over 40 research articles in English, co-edited one textbook in
Chinese, and delivered over 70 presentations at international, national, and
regional conferences. Dr. Chen’s research has received over $3 million funding
from sponsors such as the United States of Agriculture (USDA) and the National
Institutes of Health (NIH). He has been an active Research Fellow of the SHAPE America since 2014, a recipient of
the 2016 Early Career Research
Excellence Award of ICSPAH and
the 2016 Young Scholar Award of WSKW. Dr. Chen is the Chair-Elect of
the AERA SIG 93 (2018-2019). He is
also currently an Associate Editor or Section Editor of the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education,
and Measurement in Physical Education and
Exercise Science. Prior to LSU, Dr. Chen worked as an assistant professor
at the Iowa State University, after receiving his bachelor’s and master’s
degrees from Beijing Normal University (2005 and 2007, respectively) and his
Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011.
