Graduated from Beijing Sport University in 1982.  Obtained MS from
Kansas State University in 1988.  Obtain PhD from University of Iowa in
1993.  Completed post-doc training in Orthopedic Biomechanics at Mayo
Clinic in 1996.  Working at the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill since 1996.  Research was focused on biomechanics of sport injuries,
biomechanics of sports techniques, and biomechanical modeling.  Had over
120 publications and 5 book chapters.
